hey volnation. random vent, but my grandfather passed away this morning. He was an alumni, raised me as a vols fan, took and me 6 hours to Neyland every year...to where I eventually got my degree from UT as well. I'm a little bummed that he didn't get to see the best football towards the end, but I know he's seen way more success than I ever have! I loved our time together watching and talking vols. Just remember what its all about guys.
Best thoughts.

In our defense Marcus Spears, Finebaum, and other said the same thing on SEC network. In spite of the revisionist history, Pruitt was highly thought of as a DC

Hell we were saying that in August 2020, lol. “It’s nice to have a no BS coach! He just coaches football and ain’t got time for anything else!”

He put 2 players in the NFL draft his last 2 seasons at WMU.

He had 5 players drafted from MN last year (most in school history).

Six 3*
One 4*

Can’t imagine it’d be too difficult to sell players on his ability to develop.
Found and developed Corey Davis at WMU who is about to get paid.

ridin' with Herman at this point til I'm not

look, he and Barnes have similar orange-tinted backgrounds

how fun would that be?!
Would be a blast.

Overachieved at Houston. Went to Texas, was successful, just not up-to-par with Texas expectations.

I’m not saying the guy is going to be our Nick Saban and turn us from a doormat to winning 6 titles, but he definitely can coach football. He’s young, can recruit, has an offensive mind, has ran two programs, and won 71% of his games. Just couldn’t ever beat OU and gain momentum.

We could do a lot worse.

Edit: I should say I don’t think it’ll be Herman, though. He’s not a sitting HC.

What about the year before when they won 11 games for the first time in 100 years and beat auburn in the bowl game?

Idk why it’s so hard for people to realize that only a handful of programs have the resources to have sustained high level success. Everyone else is just trying to have every thing come together for one or at most two special years.
I didn't watch any of Minnesota's games in 2019, but I did watch their game with Iowa in 2020. Their offense did nothing the entire game and they were blown out 35-7. Thought I was watching a Tennessee game except the uniforms were a different color. Very depressing to watch that. Maybe fleck has already had his 15 minutes of fame and never does it again.
You willing to take that risk?

Absolutely. If he can win at WMU and Minnesota.... he can here.
