I doubt it's Franklin for multiple reasons, but I will say this.

Y'all trust DW to hire someone who's a winner, like he said he would. Maybe you should trust him to hire someone who isn't an awful person, too. Like he said he would.

The majority of CFB fans outside of Tennessee do not believe Franklin covered up a rape. The prosecution of the case itself says Franklin did not cover up a rape.

Tennessee fans have a different opinion. Why? Because he beat UT like a drum at Vandy. That's why. Let's just be honest here.

No it’s because he had to testify in a court case that convicted four of his players of a gang rape AND he has two pending lawsuits against him alleging terrible behavior inside his program and by him.

Franklin would be crazy to come back to the SEC East at this point in his career. All of the East programs aren't down/transitioning like when he was at Vandy. No better time for a coach to go through the division than when he was at Vandy. He's not going to cup check UGA and UF these days. He came in the royal rumble and handled his own for just long enough to have his stock soar. Get out and stay out.

If James Franklin wants to come here, you welcome him with open arms. He's won 11 games 3 times in the past 5 years.

He's a top-10 active NCAA coach any way you shake it.

You may hate him but he's a proven winner more than any other name mentioned.

There is almost nobody that my alma mater could hire that would ever make me turn my back on them. James Franklin is the almost to that sentence.
