Whoever Low is talking up on the radio tonight is not who we are going to hire. They may be on the list but they are not the target that they backed the Brinks truck up to tonight. I think our target accepts the offer and we know before lunch tomorrow but if he doesn’t I think we have our back up announced tomorrow afternoon. I also think our back up is not any of the guys low talked about on the radio today

I do agree, somewhat, with the perspective of telling a guy not to bring a knife to a fistfight.

The debate should be more around being promised a white whale and Franklin doesn’t belong in the same ballpark as Campbell. Would be a huge letdown. Also ain’t a QB whisperer like Lane. Their QB play was like ours.

Franklin went 4-5 this year... not sure he’s the whale. Went 11-2 last year, but lost to PJ Fleck. Would rather have Fleck tbh

Offering these rolling 5 year deals must be very attractive.

It’s a guarantee that not a lot of schools are willing to offer.

If your going to offer it then it has to be someone you have no doubts is in it for long term and will win because your stuck.

How is Franklin a top 5 coach and a big fish? I guess I missed him doing anything significant at PS ... yeah he won some games in a okay conference, but he's not on the same level as Campbell... not even close. I don't see him wanting to come back here after his stop at Vandy... nope.
