I couldn’t stand him when he was at vandy, but I wonder if that was just because he was beating us at vandy

I’m guessing that the majority of where the disdain is coming from. People painted an image of Franklin in their mind when he was beating us at vandy, so naturally that’s what people associate him with still.

I’ve read about 10-12 articles now and there’s not much in any of them on any of the allegations. I’d imagine a search firm and background check could find/validate anything that’s questionable with the prosecutor/victim/PSU officials etc.

DW’s stint as AD would be short lived if Franklin is announced. Fanbase would riot. And I know some who would lose their minds on some people in L o bills if that was the route they took. But I do not think JF is coming here.

The debate should be more around being promised a white whale and Franklin doesn’t belong in the same ballpark as Campbell. Would be a huge letdown. Also ain’t a QB whisperer like Lane. Their QB play was like ours.

And if campbell tells us no? Which he is likely to do. He’s turned down multiple other opportunities (Texas, NFL). I’m with you on Lane, but it isn’t happening

Had my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine mid-afternoon Friday. Arm was pretty sore Friday night, had chills overnight and woke up with a headache Saturday morning. All day Saturday was headache, muscles/joints aching and tired. Woke up this morning feeling 100%... pretty much exactly as expected. Our clinics are still running at about 35% positivity rate with our COVID+ census dropping about 15% over the past two weeks at the hospital.

I had my 2nd Moderna shot on Thursday and had thesame symptoms- except I had sinus congestion Thursday evening for about an hour...couldn't breathe through my nose...which resolved spontaneously. I ended up calling off work on Friday and slept all day. In addition to the regular aches, I had a weird sharp pain in my right knee. The knee pain and headache didn't budge the whole day despite tylenol.

Woke up Saturday at 530am and felt fine.

I personally don’t like Franklin. As a UT fan I hate Vandy and the big10 and Franklin is both of those. But he would by far be the best football coach we’ve had since kiffin

Why would Franklin leave Pa St.? He makes 8,000,000 a year there. It would be a lateral move at best, money wise.

Matt Campbell earns less than half the average of coaches in the B12 and from a talent perspective has almost no chance of winning a NC at ISU. If we offered 8,000,000 per year he would be in the top 5 (top 3 with ties) of all college coaches in the country and 2nd highest paid in the SEC. He'd be earning more than any current coach in the B12 and he'd have at least a shot at winning a NC here. Plus there was a connection to Johnny Majors.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence when a certain name starts to get rolling then Elliot name was thrown out throughout media to have people talking. Then rumors of big offer sent out starts the name again and then you hear Franklin name thrown out by Lowe/Pate/random posters. Gets people talking about that instead. Think it’s all by design.
