This. Why does anyone think that was recent? That was probably shot two weeks ago after the declined the Jets interview, then they had to do all the post work and drop in supers and graphics before they posted it.

Exactly. I'm NOT saying Campbell is the guy. He's always been a long shot. But, I can guarantee you that video was not shot this morning. It's been in the works for at least a week. But, even if it was shot this morning by some random chance, how everyone is taking a 15 minute long video and then taking a 15 second excerpt and running with this as some cryptic way to state "Campbell isn't leaving us" is dumb. It literally means nothing. The AD is just giving the state of the athletic department financially long-term.

I am very interested by the stop in Charlotte by the UT plane this morning.

Just spitballing without knowing who Elliott's agent is, we could have picked him up in Charlotte this morning to meet his agent, Donde and Randy in Atlanta.

This would align with what has been alluded to before by another poster: if our first target said no, we would move to the second by lunch today

There isn’t one. Greenville-Spartanburg Airport is the only hub that houses jets in the upstate.

Very long opinion piece where they discuss our issues and Tony. They all three praise the opportunity long term and think he should take it if offered in summary. They discuss some staff members he could take and impact on Clemson if he leaves.

Only nugget of info though is really just this which is more then they said yesterday.


Our latest information indicates that Tennessee has expressed interest in Elliott as a candidate. But no offer has been made, and their search could still go in any number of directions. We believe at this point he has given consideration and would accept if offered

Nothing Earth shattering on our side more for their fans.
