Very much so. He just finished some CE on some sort of special welds (idk a lot about the field), but qualifies him for specialty jobs with much higher pay. With all the oil and gas up here in the NE, for now, work is very plentiful!!

That's how it should be interpreted if that's who we land on. We won't be able to say this AD didn't swing for the fences. This just is not a very attractive job if you look at it from a detached perspective.

Looking at this tweet, I think we should interpret ISU as renegotiating Campbell's contract and his assistance down in money not up. They have a huge deficit, and maybe trying to convince Campbell and staff to take less money. Maybe, that's how Tennessee wins him. Keep your guys and keep them paid.

Get this kind of logic out of VolNation. Don't you KNOW that this video was Campbell's way of saying he isn't interested in Tennessee. It couldn't possibly be that Iowa State is running a huge deficit in the athletic department and wanted to update their community about that.

How many times is everyone going to be fooled about a “whale” Coach coming in? It’s the same thing every search but there is always a reason for them not to come and then we “settle” for someone that “is happy to be at UT and will actually do as good as our top guys”. Same thing different search. Do I feel better about the AD than in the past? Yes I do but the fact is it’s the same as it’s always been.
