True, but I would argue that TE has been instrumental in building one of the top programs in the country. He isn’t like Pruitt who was always hired in to cush jobs. He has been there for a long time and has seen what it takes to build a program like Clemson. Chadwell has done great at building up CC, but they are different animals.

In my opinion, it would be easier for TE to translate what has been done at Clemson than for JC to translate what has been done at CC. Clemson is Tennessee for all intents and purposes from an expectation, budgetary, resourcing, booster, and recruiting perspective.

Somebody like JC will need to learn how to manage all of that. There is a reason that mega corporations poach executives from pier organizations rather than hiring successful small business owners.

Franklin is a sleazeball, and not in the fun way. As far as "what about Kiffin/Freeze"....Kiffin has something to prove and Freeze would never leave. Both would be fun...and by all acounts we would score points in spades with both.

Elliot - I just don't think going the coordinator route again is a good idea. Need somebody that has first hand knowledge what they are getting into.
