Ill always remember TN for good times. It isnt same. I enjoy, perhaps more SHHS, Maryville HS sports. Love seeing ETSU bball with my girls. Saw a Maryville College game in 18, was great.

No, I think you’re just wrong.

You don’t make the most expensive AD hire possible and then try to go cheap on a coaching hire. That logic is absurd. If they strike out it’s because they tried and were turned down.

It’s likely the exact opposite of what you believe. They actually tried and just failed.

I really don't know why Franklin would consider leaving PSU to come here. Both are storied programs, but we're a sh!t show right now. Plus, an easier path to the championship there.

I'm not trashing them. Just pointing out that their wording indicates that none of that information is actually confirmed. So they are reporting what they believe is happening. Nothing wrong with that. It's not their fault leaks aren't happening and not their fault people interpret their words as confirmed information since they didn't word it as such.

Just saying..it’s Jeff F***in Fisher wanting the tennessee job.that makes Freeze and Coach Fisher wanting the job on record.that’s the floor hire either one of them.I have no doubts in my mind with Fishers knowledge and years in the NFL his staff would be experienced All-Stars man.

You can use Fisher as the floor but Freeze isn’t even in the convo. Idk why you guys keep mentioning his name. He isn’t the type of person DW hires.

I'll play devil's advocate for a moment and jump on the Nega-Vol bandwagon. If it is true that we missed on our whale, and if it is true that we skipped straight to Elliot and Dykes as our top contenders, then Danny White is as big of a fraud as any of the past ADs including Phillip Fulmer.

Let's take AP's info at face value for a second. If Franklin was the whale and we made a huge run at him and missed, it is inexcusable to then refuse to speak with Kiffin or Freeze. If integrity is not an actual issue, and you're willing to hire someone like Franklin, then skipping over other viable candidates to hire Elliot or Dykes is an embarrassment. And to not even INTERVIEW Chadwell would be beyond stupid.

See, this is why I believe 99% of this info tonight is BS. It's all predicated on the basis that Danny White is an idiot and makes hypocritical decisions. Nothing we have heard about White leads me to believe he is that dumb. So none of this information makes any sense.
