you're not wrong, but it's in the eye of the beholder. and the only thing the prospective coach has to determine is just how impactful is that perception to the ability to do the job? in our world of hot takes and 'he who's loudest is right'....lol....there's a lot to sift thru on this front. social media can be a double edge sword. that's why you see it here all the time...we're the best and worst fan base, at the same time....need to shift that more to 'the best' side of the scale....i think that's fair?You cannot legitimately tell me that our fanbase is any more negative than other major programs. That perceived negativity is simply passion for our program and any legit P5 potential coach should know that.
again, that's not saying anything is the fan's fault here, i don't believe that. i do believe we present ourselves as an easy target sometimes.
