You’ve listed some nice HC hires and some nice coordinator hires. My point is that this job is such a big rebuild it would be nice to bring in someone with some real HC experience to draw from.

Bring in another coordinator and he has to rebuild a program, learn to be a CEO, while playing one of the toughest schedules annually. It’s a big jump from recruiting and calling plays.

Yea, but if we are willing to offer $6-$8 million to certain coaches, and they don't want it, it is what it is. Everyone has money. The point being the right coordinators have actually succeeded at turning programs around. It can be done.

So TB said this exact thing this morning. He said JF said no, Dykes turned us down and even though he heard from Tigernet, he wasn't comfortable that Elliot was going to take it because people close to him advised him not to. People slammed the guy as an idiot but if anonymous bob says it we good? Time to start giving TB a little credit. No wonder he sounded so down at noon today.
