Perhaps, but the last couple of years have shown this is where the game is going even in the SEC. Defense is not what it used to be. If you can't score 35-40 points consistently your likelihood of winning is pretty slim. I'd much rather be in some shootouts and have a chance than field the garbage we have most of this century. If we lose at least it will be entertaining to watch.

I thought I saw someone post a list of coaches earlier today from VQ and Joe Brady was on it. I know the typical response is he's an NFL guy and not interested in coming back to CFB, so I was surprised his name was on a list.

One thing I just learned about him is he is a defensive guy, I always thought he had an offensive background.

You have to make stops at some point. You have to. With the way the roster is were sucking wind early 3rd quarter. We need a lot of quality depth to make that offense consistent
