He used some big bruising RBs pretty effectively in some of his offenses at OU iirc.
He usually uses a lot of RBs. I don't think he has a preference about their size. Just wants every one of them to bring a different skill set. Posting this from the last full season since last year didn't have as many games. 4 RBs with over 600 rushing yards. And 4 very productive WRs (All over 6ft by the way, only one of those WR is under 6'2)

I'm not worried about the X's and O's, im worried about recruiting, and the discipline of his team. My family has a lot of Memphis grads and they did not have great things to say about UCF under Heupel. Says his teams are first in penalties, and near the bottom in AAC recruiting. Also said that his teams are weak willed and that reflects the head coach. I predict we'll have some fun years but with losses we should have won, and he'll be gone year 5.

That's factually incorrect. Since Heupel has been at UCF they've had the 2nd, 1st, 7th, and currently 4th ranked classes in the AAC.

I pointed out yesterday that Heupel also outrecruited Kiffin every year when he was at FAU. Also, O'Leary's, Frost's, and Heupel's classes aren't significantly different. They all averaged about 60th in the country year-to-year. Being at Tennessee will attract higher rated recruits and bring better classes. I still expect Heupel to bring Top 20 classes. Most importantly, he has to develop his players.

JH knows offense. He needs to find a DC that knows defense like he knows offense and just give him the keys. Let that DC hire the defensive coaches. I mean, sit in on the interviews, but take a hands off approach. Trust the guy you hire to do his thing.

And he's gonna have to learn to recruit at a high level quickly. The Jimmy's and Joe's matter in the SEC.

I haven't watched film on him but could he possibly fit a Jalen Hurd type mold? Does he have any speed? If so he could take some reps as a power run option and passing threat out of the backfield, a wrinkle for the defense and matchup issue possibly?

I think he will be used extensively in this offense. Hard to bring down like Jennings

there's a reason folks at P5 aren't signing up to play all those teams in non conf. they'd rather play 2nd tier or lower p5 conf teams than some of the G5's from that conf.

hell, i'm glad to take on Pitt next year. i want no part of some of those AAC teams lol.......

How bad would UCF have beaten TN, SC, UK, Arky, MSU, Vandy, Mizzou and OM the last 3 year? I think UCF would have boat raced all thise teams.

Lowest avg per carry out of that group was 5.4 yards per. 😁😁
