Post from Volzown on VQ...

It is, in fact, more of the same. I’m willing to eat loads of crow, but this is our 4th AD and 5th HC since Fulmer was fired as HC. They all say the same thing. All insiders say the same thing. The public statements are almost boiler plate at this point.

It’s time to stop with the talking and show this fanbase some freaking results.

He seems to be ranting and making an ass of himself with his over exuberance, but there are some valid points in all that mess, IMHO.

Yep and people didn’t want to believe a booster turned this stuff in and he puts it all out there for you. I agree with him on Steele. It makes the most sense to have a defensive staff of Steele/Garner/TWill to recruit that side of the ball. But I need to see the hire before deciding it’s awful.

agreed.

though i'll say this as far as it being different 'this time'....

it's the first time in a while we have a president, chancellor and AD all basically on the same page, same path, and seeming like they're going to all be here together for a bit.

up until this point, it felt like every other year, there was always some change at the top be it president, chancellor and/or AD.....so as much as have heard about the affects of the lack of continuity on the coaching staff, the reality is that lack of continuity was present at the highest levels of the administration for quite some time as well.

so, if TN is going to get back to anything resembling relevancy, it feels like it will be this group, coach not withstanding, of administrative leaders would be the ones to do it and see it thru, together.....

past that...don't disagree. we've heard it all before.

Hey guys, still feeling confident about Josh Heupel for the future?
I'm not worried about the X's and O's, im worried about recruiting, and the discipline of his team. My family has a lot of Memphis grads and they did not have great things to say about UCF under Heupel. Says his teams are first in penalties, and near the bottom in AAC recruiting. Also said that his teams are weak willed and that reflects the head coach. I predict we'll have some fun years but with losses we should have won, and he'll be gone year 5.
