This is what many folks seemed to miss with Danny White's leak concerns. His motivation to keep things quiet was never about some egotistical conquest to be a ninja AD. He prioritized the student athletes who play for these coaches. Wanted to give whoever he hired a chance to say goodbye to his community in his own way. He wanted them to come to Tennessee and feel like they were doing the right thing and at peace with how they were leaving.

That's an honorable way to do business. It shows respect to all candidates that were willing to talk to Tennessee, whether they had real interest or not. We're not used to things being handled like that so a good portion of our media and fans just made fun of it instead.
Absolutely

So quick questions: Will Grey, To, Wanya, and other transfers be eligible next year if they’re not grad transfers? I thought they shelved the one time transfer talk, and doubt they’ll be given immediate eligibility due to how JP was fired. Also them possibly being connected to those events pits even more doubt on them playing next year. Just curious as to why the rush to get to a new school is all.
Oh I'm sure OU told them to not worry it will be passed soon...of course if it isn't those kids will just be left out hung to dry...

I can agree with that. Although I don’t think the blowout wins will happen much this year. I think they will start next year. Yeah red zone efficiency is going to be critical. Hopefully JH realizes what he has in Beckwith and Wideman in the red zone.
It seems like every where he has been the offense comes firing right out of the box...... we absolutely annihilate bowling green, Tennessee tech, and south Alabama..... look at the difference he made in Missouri in one year.... plus he seems to have evolved as well.... of course we may get annihilated a few times as well such as Alabama and possibly Georgia..... we will have to see how it goes.

For you stock junkies- What’s the best app to invest and what stocks would ya recommend starting with?
I prefer Webull. Free trading and there are extended trading hours. ETFs are generally the safest longterm plays. You’re not going to immediately see huge spikes, but they are normally the least risk over the longterm. My personal favorite are any of the ARK etfs. They have been killing it lately and are extremely active with their buys/sells.

The hire alone. He hired a coach that has overseen a significant decline of a program he took over that happens to be far easier than the SEC. 6-4 year 3 after taking over a 12-0. That is material and the data doesn’t look good. Sure, he has fun offense but clearly he isn’t outperforming his competition.

Are you even going to give HC Heupel a chance?

There is a stock thread in the Pub that I suggest you check out. A lot of knowledgeable posters who don’t mind answering newb questions. I just started in the stock market last week. I’m already down $12. Lol

I traveled to California, on business, for years and I can honestly say I would never live there. I'm sure there's some good things about California but it wasn't for me.
Stayed in Santa Cruz for three months on business.

I had fun there but I've had zero interest in going back.

California is beautiful if you can always keep your eyeline at coast level and above. If you ever make the mistake of looking down, it's just trash. Homeless people. Trashy people. And literal garbage everywhere.

Clearly he's outperforming his competition as demonstrated by his 28-8 record.

Well said

Here is what gives me optimism about Heupel...
If you can score a lot of points, you always have a punchers chance. We won’t have a comparable roster to our big rivals for a while, BUT I feel much better about our chances of stealing some games along the way with a high powered offense. We haven’t even had a chance the last 3 years (average margin of defeat = 26 points).

There are some new wave ones with good apps, but you’ll quickly find yourself trading more than you should as a new investor. Here’s a good read about how these apps trick you into buying and selling and how they make money every time you do. 2021 Predictions & Person of the Year | No Mercy / No Malice

My advice would be to pick something you can throw money into and not worry about checking it every 20 minutes. Because there’s a reckoning coming in the market.

My buddy from Knoxville is now the basketball coach at Warren Wilson...I didn't even know they had a team...I sort of chuckled thinking of what kind of recruits would go there...

Milligan College, er University fields a bball team. The CoJC has 'loaned' ETSU its Civic Coliseum, retroed with new sound system and blacked out for ETSU sports, its quite the setup. Let's you know who's running that show.

Frustratingly App State who used to be in SoCon built their own on campus facility. We're stuck with our sideways tin can.

Anyway. Milligan, Maryville College etc play NAIA. They can get some decent players every now and again.

I did a comparative analysis once. If you took enrollments from WW, Montreat, BC, UNCA, WCU and combined them...total enrollment is still < ETSU. Kinda tells me where sports rank to them
