Wrong on my part about the lifting weights during season.. ur right but I know we lost weight this past season... and I think it hurt us but I’m willing to give him another year like I said before.
I watched a thing about too too wanting to lose weight but can’t find anywhere that it was a set plan to lose weight.... the closest thing I found was artis claiming he put together a plan to gain strength during the off-season.... I can’t see Pruitt being on board with the team as whole getting smaller.

UCF fans aren’t lying about Heupel’s offense. He really does run primarily 4 plays. He runs up the middle, throws a bubble screen, throws a comeback route, and throws a bomb. One of those plays nearly every snap. The occasional slant. But that’s about it.
He did more with Lock. Honestly though, does it really matter if he’s only calling 4 plays if we’re dropping 40+ per?

Agree. I was listening to the sports source on YouTube. It’s got Jimmy Hyams and some others on it and it’s pretty good. It has Will Overstreet, Sterling Hinton and Daniel Hood on today. They were talking about how excited they were about Heupel hire.

Hyams and the others were talking about assistant coaches. Now they are by far legit insiders but their opinion was that the longer this goes on without Steele leaving the more likely it is he stays on. Now Hyams mentioned Steele as DC and bringing Chavis to coach LBs. I wouldn’t have an issue with that.
Chavis is a great LB coach, but he'd be a liability in recruiting.

How many TN kids do you think we need to get at minimum in the 2022 class to consider it a success?

Tennessee Grad here. Grew up in Tennessee and there's no way I'd follow a different team. What, I put all that time and effort in Tennessee but I'm going to start rooting for Alabama? Makes no sense.

Not a Tennessee grad (went another route), but I grew up in rural, nowhere Tennessee, and football - for me - is the Vols. I enjoy the Titans, but Tennessee football is the Vols. Don’t even understand the concept of choosing another team.

If Steele is the DC, Simon will coach one set of LBs & Gardner for DL. Wonder who he’d hire for Secondary and if he’d coach the other set of LBs or hire another assistant...
Depends on how JH splits the staff. Does he give the defense 5 coaches? Does he name a ST coach?

Kind of the same here. Grew up just outside of Knoxville, my parents while both working for UT. Moved to WV at 14, went to Marshall, but have remained a die hard Vol fan.

I don’t think it’s about the amount we sign more so of who. We can sign 12 instate kids but if none of them are Simpson, Nolan, Hayden, or Horton then it’s a failure.
