That was kind of my point. Most teams are multiple on defense, playing with 3, 4, 5 down lineman depending on down and distance. I don't think a "Base" anything means all that much. JMO

Yeah, I think “multiple” is like a football buzz word—BUT I do think like with offense you have to adjust. I was listening to EA’s show and he said that defense is kind of reactionary. If you have a good offense they are going to run the same stuff until you stop it.

I think a lot of fans feel entitled to do and say things because they pay for the seats, and they might be mentally ill. It’s got worse as sports and society as progressed. Now everyone with a ticket or money feels like they can say what they want because “feelings”—-
I think fans have always talked but before society knew they were just words with no real meaning behind them..... in today’s society..... we feel that words are hurtful when in reality they are not.

I’ve been in that situation several times just not on the same level as lebron. I had what looked like a motorcycle gang yelling at me outside a softball park fence bc I slid in hard to one of their players the game before..... They were all wanting to kick my a$$..... I didn’t run around yelling...... mr umpire..... mr umpire.
Collegiate soccer here. Frats are awarded points at alot of schools for going to the lower money sports. Don't be alarmed but they heckle and are drunk. Easy to ignore.

I wish I knew and understood all the answers to that but my impression is Pruitts 3-4 is more physical and stop the run first type scheme while the 3-3-5 is more Designed with stopping the pass first

i think teams will Try to run more against us than in years past because they will want to keep our fast paced offense on the field
I can understand that but I think with the way offenses are evolving, being more pass oriented (even using the swing passes more and getting players out in space) don't you think it may be shifting to slowing down the high potent offenses? I see more bend but don't break strategies being employed. Let them have their way between the 20's but them tighten up when the field is smaller. Seems like where things are headed now.

Without Larry & Magic there would be no Bad Boys. Without Bad Boys, Larry, and Magic there is no dominant MJ and Bulls. They were all greats, incredibly tough, and not soft like these players today (rules changed in early 90s).

Also, there is an iconic moment where MJ hushed the crowd with his performance and put his finger to his lips to let them know it. He didn’t resort to a pansy azz intervention showcase.

Edit: by Larry & Magic I’m characterizing the Lakers and Celtics as whole; two of the dominant teams of all time and the 2 most important teams to the modern NBA.

No, that's based off of tangible evidence. His episodes of flopping, having a 100 lb lady thrown out because she told him to eff off while he was jawing with her husband, etc

What she actually told his was I will F*** you up. The refs made a decision based off her words to have her ejected. Lebron didn't tell them to stop the game. Lebron didn't go back and forth with her and you can tell by the way her husband just watched and didn't say anything to Lebron.

No doubt things are heading that way

I got heckled a lot at high school level... I loved it and thought it was hilarious.... especially if the person got mad bc that meant I was winning.

Volbeast is likely a middle aged man living in East Tennessee based off his profile. The practicality of him playing an NBA minute is close to 0. So, no, not baseless.
NBA hecklers aren't any different from other hecklers. They are all the same. I've been the my fair share of NBA games. Same as NFL, college FB, college bball, college soccer, Greek intramurals, etc. It's all the same stuff. You have no idea if he played ball somewhere that had a similar moment. If you are limiting it to just nba minutes then you are being disingenuous in your argument.

Yeah that’s true but I’ll say this: social media has kind of made it a little worse. I remember when Monica Seles got stabbed back in the day (that’s probably an extreme case) and here in Knoxville UT coaches families have been harassed by fans. I think there’s a line there...
