He just got back from being at Louisville. My friend on staff at App said that when Drink was hired at App, Dale tried to get on that staff bc he needed only 1-2 years to get the NC pension and his daughter was in school at Watagua so he wanted to be close to her. Drink basically brushed him off and Dale then went to Lville.

Yeah, his girlfriend grew up in that area too. It has become home and that is a good thing

Yeah that’s true but I’ll say this: social media has kind of made it a little worse. I remember when Monica Seles got stabbed back in the day (that’s probably an extreme case) and here in Knoxville UT coaches families have been harassed by fans. I think there’s a line there...

I agree with that.... at a game being heckled.... no big deal.... if she comes out on the court after any nba player than she would deserve to go to jail..... I also don’t agree with bringing the heckling to social media or trying to find where players live.

It isn't other than he is able to accomplish more with less talented players by using it. The concept of contain the spread O's while stopping the run games is what drives the 3-3-5. The lack of quality D-linemen is why teams have gone to it. They will let you run the ball within reason because O-schemes rarely will stick with the run for entire drives. The d-linemen have one gap responsibility, but they line up without revealing it by going head on against the assigned O-lineman.

JMO and observation, the primary difference with his is the big LB's he uses to stop the run games between the tackles. Pruitt, Bama and others using it tend to use Henry T sized (as a sophomore) LB's because they had more talented and physically imposing D-lineman. They also use many D schemes because they have more talent and deeper rosters. In theory, if you are going high octane offense and contain style D because of less roster talent on D, you can have more success against better teams. Hence, Leach hiring Arnett.

My youngest Granddaughter, just over a month old, has been diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) and will have open heart surgery this week. Any prayers that you could send (or positive thoughts if you don't believe in prayer) would be greatly appreciated. Just know, I wouldn't ask anything for myself, ever. But, I'll ask anything of anyone for one of my family. Thank you in advance.

Agree with this. Touching a player and you're gone. Too many issues with that with liability.

I tend to dislike people who define themselves by their lack of belief. Reasonable skepticism is prudent, but disbelief for its own sake is lazy. It's always harder to believe in something, and even if the odds are against it, it's more rewarding.

You moved the goal posts by making it specifically about playing in the NBA during covid attendance and getting heckled while those don't disqualify him knowing how he would react even though he may have actually experienced something similar in a different sport or setting.
