I fought it for the longest time, but the SB win against the Falcons convinced me. GOAT to me because he is NEVER out of a game! He had to make every play count or he doesn’t beat Atlanta. That could have and should have been his Seattle knockout like it was against Peyton. He’s won ugly and lost pretty but until that last second ticks off? He’s a threat. No one rooting against him (like me) breathed a sigh of relief until that last second Hail Mary bounced off Gronk’s fingers in the SB against Philadelphia. You don’t beat him...you survive him. Anyone who gets you to 10 Super Bowls and wins 6 of them isn’t benefiting from LUCK.

There is no GOAT of QBs. Impossible to determine. It’s a made up fan term.

If Choice is the RB coach, then so be it, but with M Hardesty just being hired as RB coach at USCe, makes you wonder if he even got a look? Talk about a VFL who could recruit and knows the position...
We don’t have to have a VFL on staff..... it’s part of what has gotten us in this mess.

Franchise QB’s get you there. The best get you there more than once. The BEST EVER get you there 10 times. And he’s got all the all time passing records if that helps it go down easier.
Trent Dilfer wasn’t a franchise Qb. The Philly Qb wasn’t a franchise Qb. Eli Manning was by no means an elite Qb and he beat Brady twice. Teams , Coaches and organizational structure like the Patriots had get you the multiple SB appearances.

You’re throwing outliers and I already covered that with “the best” part. Eli was a FRANCHISE QB and they don’t have those SB’s without him. Count how many SB wins Patriots had without Brady and when you start dickling over Belichick, check out his winning percentage without Brady. Made the PLAYOFFS only once...and that was in Cleveland.

And, was 1-3 against Manning in the biggest game they could've met in, the AFC Championship. 2-3 against Manning in the playoffs.

Brady, the master of clutch vs Manning, the choker in the big game.
Looks like in the biggest of games they could've faced each other, head to head, that narrative doesn't stand.

Brady is one of the five greatest ever; what he has done will stand, forever. But, if Super Bowls and rings are the breaker, if they hold that much weight, then someone, as I always ask with this argument, has to convince me that Terry Bradshaw is right there with Montana at #2.

Manning's #'s, Super Bowls, rings, mvps, records are well known; but...what separates him from the Brady's, the Breeze's, the Rodgers', the others...Manning truly revolutionized the game, him and Tom Moore. THAT'S what elevates him above the others. And, Brady, Breeze, Roethlisberger, many others...they have all said it time and again...they wanted to be Manning. Brady and Breeze talked about it constantly in the early, mid 2000s.

Also, Brady landed in New England...Indianapolis landed on Manning. There was a reason they had been picking in top 5 for years before Manning come along. He carried not only a franchise, but an entire state on his shoulders.

Also, if Manning had graduated from Bama 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮, I would be saying the same thing about him. It's my love of the game that says Manning, not my love of Manning.

Btw, my Top 3 of all time: Manning, Marino, Elway

Hmm.. from what I've heard, my guess is you reaped some reward for watching it with her!

She watched those episodes on her day off. I had to suffer through the episodes with no visual payoff....and from what I did see there weren't really any hot women. A couple of decent very young looking women. Not my thing.

Brady is amazing..... he has also been helped by always playing with a top defense.

How do you spin “choker” with the clutch performances? There were games in which Brady obliterated Peyton. I don’t remember a blowout the other way. Peyton Manning’s my favorite player ever...ask my wife about my man cave. It’s despite my love of Manning that I conceded that Brady is the best ever. You don’t have to follow suit but you’re not changing my mind...it took me a long time to get there.
