Breaking: After a conversation with James Franklin whose pitch was "it would be inconvenient for him to hire a new coach", banks will remain at Psu for half his contract and will not be the DC at Tennessee

-night shift, probably.

Hey I’ve posted very little about this DC search. I haven’t really cared about how long it’s taken. They could have taken 2-3 more months for all I care.

Good grief. Would have rather had T Rob as at least he could recruit in our footprint.

Banks hasn’t worked in the south since a 2 year stint at Memphis St in 2001.

Hey I’ve posted very little about this DC search. I haven’t really cared about how long it’s taken. They could have taken 2-3 more months for all I care.

I mean are you not underwhelmed by this hire?

I don’t know enough about him to be one way or another. I mean, he’s been DC or Co- DC for last 14 years at 4 different schools and at PSU last 5. Just knowing that tells me we could have done a lot worse. I just want him to develop the players and keep our opponents scoring under 35 per game. If he does that we’ll be good.
