I’ve learned that if there is one positions that fans rarely like their position coach it’s DBs lol. Give up any play and you suck.

Sign of bad DB coaching is as follows:

1) Unable to properly jam on the line / make up ground when beat

2) Allowing receivers inside of you on 3rd down repeatedly

3) Poor tackling (not wrapping up etc)

4) DBs not looking back / putting their hands up once the receiver looks/stretches for the ball

In 2018 the number was raised from 9 assistants to 10 by the NCAA.
