Yeah I misread it. I didn't read "coach" in the first sentence. I thought it just said having a national brand was important, but you have to have a good national brand coach

I don't think it has anything to do with us. Saban told him to hold off until after the spring. I believe he thinks the NCAA will pass the one time transfer rule by then. He's gonna finish at Bama for sure.

1. we have no clue who or how many P5 schools reached out to Gus
2. Auburn is paying the man more not to coach than most P5 jobs pay Head Coaches
3. (imo) he took this job cause of location & to help out his friend who is their new AD

Wow...we have gotten so lucky here. The last three storms have all skirted just west and north of us. I don't mind snow so much, but I freakin hate ice storms.

I do wish that I had taken this week off and went to Florida like I had thought of..

Lol nice one he still makes his DBs work but it is essentially what Pruitt taught except he specifically teaches undercutting which I don’t know if Pruitt taught or not. I feel like Pruitt taught to stay on their hip but not over commit and work through the receiver. (Both are good and bad)

Undercutting (higher percentage to cause a turnover) possibility QB makes a perfect throw and you need safety help.

Working through a receiver (possible higher pass breakups) issues with this the receiver could break away and there be absolutely no help and no way to recover as a DB.
