Kentucky is paying an OC $750k and he was the ASSISTANT QB coach for the Rams. Yes, you read that correctly. LSU is paying Deronte Jones 1.3 million and was the DB coach with the Vikings. He apparently may have DC experience at the high school level.

So, yes, this is very much in line with what schools are paying even if you consider our situation worse than those.
