He thought it was going to be something that he could throw shade back at Tenn. and he got ahead of himselfHow the hell did you read it so wrong?
New UCF football coach Gus Malzahn agrees to 5-year, $11.5 million deal
2.3m a year for 5 years
Fired after leading the Big12 in rushing and 3rd in conference in ppg at 36.2.
Stoops made the move bc he wanted to go with more of a passing offense, which was not Heupel’s philosophy at the time. But dude was putting up points.
You’ve completed your community service for the month. No need to put yourself through that anymore. So because I apparently love to self-harm, I made the mistake of listening to Hyams today while I went grocery shopping. First he railed about how UT didn't give Dale Jones an interview for DC. Said Dale expressed interest, and that Rodgers and the Louisville DC had vouched for him, but UT never contacted him. Jimmy seemed indignant.
Then he had Dr. Jerry Punch on. I normally like Dr. Jerry, but today he and Jimmy went on about how UT should have hired Steele and brought back John Chavis and Dan Brooks.
I really wish we could get some intelligent sports radio hosts in Knoxville.
Dale Jones would have been a disasterSo because I apparently love to self-harm, I made the mistake of listening to Hyams today while I went grocery shopping. I think Crouch might be okay as an OLB, I just don't think he's suited for inside.
If he gained about 20 Lbs he could be a prototype edge rusher. Size, speed, not to much to worry about other than don't get beat outside on a sweep and get the QB, pretty simple.
Dale Jones would have been a disaster
Steele would have been a disaster
Banks may be a disaster (time will tell), but at least he is young, hungry and on the rise
Proof is in yhe puddin'. I got nothing but hope that he kills it. But a dose of reality doesn't hurt. At minimum, Wash, House, Rodgers were ahead of him.Sorry but you have no idea who has or has not actually turned down a contract offer. This guy has been a DC for a long time and has worked with James Franklin for 5 years, is a good recruiter and knows the state. I am all in.
