While I agree; and turning Hogan is the greatest move in wrestling history...after, they seriously dropped the ball, which led to WCW demise.

With the turn of Hogan, and the creation of the NWO, they had it, they had pulled off something special, and could have destroyed Vince...but, the storylines that came after were garbage for the most part, not to mention the match between Hogan and Sting at Starcade. Epic fail. If Vince had built up a match like that to WrestleMania, you can bet the house it would have been amazing.

A buddy of mine was a cop in Kingsport and would work security at the local matches. He even would occasionally put on a mask and wrestle if they came up short on wrestlers on a given night. He invited me to come see him wrestle one night and took me to the back where they would get ready. Got to meet Jimmy Golden and Ricky Morton of Rock and Roll Express fame. Bunch of cool dudes. I was like a little kid as I grew up watching these guys. Then Ricky lit up a smoke and the illusion of high flying athletes was shattered forever. 🤣

Rick Rude is my second favorite wrestler of all time.
That guy was a great, great, in ring performer. Had a great look, and mic skills to match.
Did that neck breaker (Rude Awakening) like a boss.

And that angle he worked with Jake Roberts over Jake's wife ... great wrestling with a super entertaining story line.

Yeah, I said earlier today that the NWO story broke down when they split it up into factions.
As for Sting and Hogan ... not even the great Sting could carry Hogan and have a great match.
Truthfully, the build up to the match was EPIC, but even that was all Sting.

The Brain is definitely #1; but, the Mouth of the South is right up there with him. After those two, it drops just a bit. Cornette, Paul Bearer, JJ Dillon, and Miss Elizabeth; but, you had Mr Fuji and Freddie Blassie, who were both great.

Edit: I may add, though...Cornette use to have people bring guns to the arena looking to shoot him, he'd get them so worked up. THAT'S talent.

Great list, when it comes to ring work. I'd add Macho Man to it. Mach and Steamboat at WreatleMania 3 was one of the all time greats.

Which means we'll have to have hired a LB coach &/or safeties &/or corner backs coach(es) by then.
Also, who's gonna be Special Teams coordinator. I hope they don't do it by committee or whatever.
