I believe you’re in Frisco. So am I. You seem to have it much better than my area of town. Power went out at 4:00 a.m. Monday when the temp was 4 degrees. Stayed off until 4:30 p.m. and was on for about 50 minutes before going back out. Came back on for about and hour at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. Was out Tuesday morning when temp was -2. Came back on around 8:30 a.m. for an hour. Been on and off periodically since then. Currently off...but the temp is a balmy 21 degrees. Must be global warming.

You can speak better to this by being so close to UCF, but I heard a podcast where the hosts were talking about Heupel's offense, and how basically you need a QB who isn't afraid to sling the ball around and also put his head down and rush for 6 yards.

Basically they described it as a swagger position in this offense.

Some of the things that certain poster has said on here makes you think the NCAA may need to look into his place of employment.

that's why i can't believe it's a good business practice to publicly do what he's doing...somebody in that organization has to be like "dude...we really don't want that kind of attention"....lol. i mean, we've got a full blown investigation going on, the NCAA is already poking around, i'm sure it wouldn't take much prodding for someone in the UTAD to point over in that direction too.......

I agree. Tennessee can't be the only program who would be interested to see what goes on at a place like NPA and the impact they have on recruits and why.....

well, from what he's saying, he's basically saying he's a broker, or will be in cases where TN may be factor. and if you get stained by the NCAA on that front, then prospects won't touch you with a 10' pole if eligibility issues are a legit concern for having participated there. so, it makes no sense to draw that kind of attention to yourself, especially if that's your business.

Ok, some input on the various off-topic topics:

Wrestling- I was a kid of the 80s and grew up in North Carolina. I definitely had an awareness of WWF, but NWA was my jam. Road Warriors, Ivan and Nikita Koloff, Lex Luger (I think that was his name). But my favorites were Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson...the Rock and Roll Express!

Cartoons- The 80s ones I’ve seen mentioned are all good. I’d add the Pink Panther, the Ant and the Aardvark, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Tom and Jerry, so many good ones.

Last one...someone mentioned everyone having pocket knives. We all had that one with the long blade that had all kinds of gadgets in it. It was a compass on the end of the handle. I’m sure many of you know which one I’m talking about.

Okay, two things:

1) Thank you to all the regulars in this Thread/Forum who have allowed, yea even welcomed me, to this side of VolNation. It is different here (like in the Gruden threads of yesteryear), and not everyone is welcome. You all have made me feel welcome.

2) More importantly, I was thinking last night as I was nodding off to sleep, and wanted to make it a point to come here and ask today ... who are the top five greatest wrestlers who never won a World Championship? I'm not talking about world tv title, or world tag titles or even world jr type titles ... I'm talking the main belt for a major company.

Here's four ... I'll let you guys add one more.
