I think it's telling the VQ crew had virtually no insider insights from the scrimmage. I think they are majorly lacking contacts inside that building now. And if the business model is going to lean on their own expert analysis skills, I could see VQ becoming a free site very rapidly.

The disparity between how they felt about the open practice and how I felt after watching it was definitely an eyebrow raiser.

I'm really at a loss as to why some on here actually let "journalists" , like AP upset them so much.. They're lazy, biased and useless.... IMO...

but 1vol8 says his poll was like 48% Maurer 45% Hooker and 7% HB , I dont think nobody know. One thing for sure, we will know by the 1st game. 5 months and HB has no chance to work on his mechanics. We have a Hooker and a erratic Maurer and poor mans HB.

I mean i think we have 3 capable QBs. They just all 3 bring different skill sets to the table. Maurer is the most talented out of all of them and it’s really not close but he’s a rollercoaster. The way they widen their splits on offense, if you have a legit running threat at QB... it makes it impossible to play any kind of two high shell.

All of the QB's on the roster are being redeveloped. We will have no idea who will start until later in August. We may not know even then. They may start one and the guy tanks immediately like with Mizzou or a little later like at UGA. It will be obvious when it clicks thiough because our HC knows how a good QB should operate in his O.

Just enjoy the ride.

IMO - his reads and being impulsive. If you operate in the system correctly you make quick accurate reads and throws. You don't force the ball into very tight windows and know to throw the ball away if nothing is there. That's his historical weakness.

I ve looked at this since the huge splits are working their way into the HS game. You almost force teams to roll to a thirds look or play a 3 high look like Iowa State that you don't see SEC teams really doing at this point.

My biggest beef with the volquest crew and mainly AP was the obvious bias to keep Pruitt and never calling Fulmer for his incredibly dumb decisions all while blaming fans for unrealistic expectations after a 3-7 year in year 3.

No idea what to expect from Hooker but HB is better than BM till he isn’t...

Hooker does nothing explosive. Zero touchdowns in 2 scrimmages and doesn't complete anything down field.

Why would he be qb 1? Ball security? Sure, but if your going 3 and out why not give someone that has upside qb1 and hope they work the turnovers out.

This is exactly correct. They are still trying to figure out the QBs.

Could also be referring to the handle, whoever that is. Hope it's in regards to their suspension.
