Did Coach JH decide to pull the trigger on getting Milton after being disappointed by the QBs on that big scrimmage Saturday? Because that's what it seems like
Milton has been on campus for weeks. He was always coming. I know you want to push your schtick, but no

Well said!
I have zero idea what I'm looking for "on film."
The only thing I can see, is when I go to a High School game, and so-n-so dominates, then I think he's pretty good.

It's like an average golfer trying to critique a golf swing..............

Here ya go VN.........Tell me every detail that is right and wrong. GO
Why bother? It's been my experience that women don't like to be critiqued... You're living dangerously my friend.

TBH.....They are much easier to teach than men. A lot of the guys I teach think they know everything about the swing. Women generally are a blank canvas that have no preconceived idea what they want. 15-17 yr olds are even easier.

I for one love that this staff went out and got a seasoned QB from the transfer portal. Obviously, we would all love for Maurer, Bailey or Salter to step up but having another seasoned QB in the room can help push those guys along. It's sad how poorly the previous staff really set those guys (Maurer, Bailey) for failure. Plus, I for one had been screaming for the previous staff to get a Grad transfer in here to push or replace JG.

Now, go get us some DE's and LB's too please.

Watching this.... if Michigan’s receivers weren’t so afraid to get hit Milton would of completed way more passes lol.
I get the impression that Heup has known Milton sine he was in Orlando and thinks highly of his potential. Milton is exactly what Heup wants in a QB, he can throw the dad gum ball down the field. My money is on him as being the starter. He's the guy that Heup brought in. Heup will simplify the game for him and call on that big arm 14-15 times a game. If he can do it, he'll be the starter. If not, we'll go the safe route with Hooker or Bailey. I don't think we can judge Milton fairly based off of a season in Michigan as the starter. He's got three years here to be coached and developed by coaches who have proven they can develop QB's.

They said a bunch of dumb **** on the BWCC Podcast sponsored by BWCC.

AP seems to think you go get two dozen more QBs if you have to until you fix the position. I think that's silly. There are no finished products in the portal. You are going to have to develop your guy whoever it is, and the more QBs you have, the harder that is going to be to do. CJH is probably already hoping Maurer or Bailey transfer. You can't practice 5 QBs.

And then Hubbs went on some tangeant about how schools are going to stop having Spring games because the games were streamed instead of on cable. No idea what the **** he's talking about on that one.

It's a recruiting advantage - perceived or real - to have your game on ESPN vs. ESPN+ or SECn+

Only 1 SEC game made it to the networks - Bama.

The rest are being streamed.

And...lack of upper body strength necessitates better form to get good results. Men can mask swing flaws with brute strength.

It's utterly humiliating to me to watch Shawn Clements' daughter Savanna hit her drive nearly 300 yards and look like she's barely trying. Meanwhile, I look like Feherty's "octopus falling out of a tree", and I'm dang pleased if I find the fairway with a 275 yard drive.

As far as recruiting advantages go, that one is negligible. But regardless, the primary purpose of the Spring game is to generate fan interest for the upcoming season. It is largely an in person event. How many of our Spring games have been on ESPN in the last 20 years? Hardly any.

The idea that it is not being carried by major providers so we should stop doing it is just a dumb take out of left field. UT fans can still watch, and that's the point. The game isn't meant to generate a bunch of TV revenue from national views, it's meant to spur fan interest moving into the summer.

I thought the same due to Milton being from Orlando, but it looks like if there was any prior relationship it was probably when Hype was at Mizzu. 247 shows an offer from Mizzu, but nothing from UCF.

here's my take. since it's dumb **** and all. go to store, or, back of car (if you go to range), grab some ear plugs. insert said ear plugs, acc to this detailed CDC instructional drawing.0275EB86-79FF-4660-B5E5-C1C9F7FF582D.png

You can say anything you wish, as this is a free board. But, I shant allow shat talking the free Volquest Podcast sponsored by Blue Water Climate Control with free Spring Tune Up Giveaway. It is free, if only we had a choice.

Regardless, this is Heup's only QB on the roster that he has picked. He wanted Milton.

I've been beaten by a few women golfers, and I'm not ashamed of it. A female that can hit it 250, and is great from 100 in.......

I still think Bailey starts. But, I can see the appeal of bringing in Milton. Kid can sling it and isn’t afraid to stand in the pocket and can throw on the run.

Agreed, and I think Milton will be his guy come opening kick as well. I think BM and HB hit the portal; good, bad or indifferent.
I still think Bailey has the tools to be a good QB. But if Milton is truly Heup's pick and he has 3 years to play, then all of them except maybe Salter will be hitting the portal. Which I understand, but will hurt us on depth if they do it this year.

He might. If he can speed up he'll have a chance. I just think Hooker is mediocre. Doesn't do anything great, but probably safe. I think Bailey has the accuracy to be a Drew Locke type QB if he gets the opportunity and takes coaching.
