He is for sure. Total rollercoaster but it’s a new staff so naturally they are gonna give him every chance to win the job but it’s up to him really you know.

Little disappointed with the secondary. Couple of baileys early passes including the touchdowns were just bad blown coverages. Thought all the QBs did good stuff tho. It’s hard to tell Bc there’s not a true pocket you know. I thought Fant did some nice things. I like 14 and 20 on defense. Also think the other Garland kid looks ok at LB. also like tamarian McDonald. All and all was good. Feel really sorry for our LB coach. Going from 2 1st rounders in bush and pay to what we got now haha

I really have no idea. Maurer and Hooker got the first looks idk how much you take from that tho. I personally would go with Hooker for his legs and experience. I think our offense needs that extra dimension with a mobile QB but damn it’s hard to trust Maurer.

I am biased because I want HB to be really good and I think he’s just the most consistent even last year I felt he was the best of them. I feel like he’s going to be a pretty good QB no matter if it’s at UT or somewhere else. I think he just needs to get out on the field to prove it. I just hope we don’t have rotating QBs all year.

It was so great seeing some football today and seeing a ton of points scored. I am not sure if that means the offense is that great or the defense is that bad. I assume the truth is somewhere in the middle, which is fine by me. One of the reasons I wanted a new coach was to bring a new attitude to the team and hope to the fans. I think the game today proves that both of those things have happened so far. Can’t wait to see these guys beat some teams this fall.

Always give me the quarterback who can deliver it best to the weapons. If that same QB is mobile, it’s a bonus...but secondary in overall importance.
