Seems like if they're going to allow players to leave, they are going to have to allow teams to get their scholarships back, or there won't be anywhere for them to go.
You get the scholarship back, but the problem is transfers count against the 25 a year limit. Which, if you're gonna do that, you can't make it so easy to transfer, which they just did. So they need to change the way they count IMO.

I think some of AV's sources passed along lies to him, probably without knowing they were lies, and Danny White found out who his sources were and cut them off. Some of the sources may be boosters who don't get info anymore. Regardless, AV is a decent human and doesn't really need all the grief he gets here.

AV has been in the same room as White and still is. He’s just not posting anything to this forum.

Yes. Or schools like OK won't take kids from high school but save half their 25 to take good players on teams with turmoil into coming to play with them. Let them work out a year or two to see if they are really good then take them.

They’re going to have to allow compensatory spots for the following year JMO

This is going to hurt the opportunities for some high school players. I don’t like that. On top of that I really don’t like that there’s no loyalty or dealing with adversity with this in place.

Seems like a reach pick by the Saints. They must really like that kid to spend a 1st round pick on him. Wow.

Hey Soda, hung out down in your neck of the woods a couple weeks back, exploring Sutter Falls and Collins Gulf. Beautiful area!!!

Also going to hurt those that go into the portal and end up without a place to play. So who benefits? The really good players that go to really good teams.

Good point, there are a TON of players in the portal without a home. A lot of tweaking to do, but again, I’m no fan whatsoever of college free agency.
