All I heard when he was hired back was “meh” or people saying it was just a retread hire and that we could have done so much better. I just disagree. I think he’s an excellent coach who consistently is a part of maybe not great, but really good defenses and puts guys in the league regardless star ranking.

Sorry to have to say this, but right behind Farrell’s awful take is a lot of our fans’ opinion of Willie Martinez. 3 DBs drafted from UCF in this draft. Plus he helped put Coleman, Sutton, Moseley and Gaulden in the draft under Butch. Consistently good coach who does more with less and probably our second best coach only behind Garner.

Wasn’t a fan of his first stint. Gotta like how he’s been passing time since. We’ll see.
