Now that I’ve sobored up a bit, let me clarify with my Tayven Jackson comparison to JG. I was mainly trying to point at how their hs stats were similar and that Jacksond ranking is what JGs should’ve been had Butch not paid off the recruiting sites. But overall with jackson im going to have to see him put up better numbers before im excited about him

JG was a 4 star and the no. 1 rated dual threat
TJ is a 4 star and the no. 18 rated pro style QB with one year left to play (he could end up higher rated)

I mean the composite ratings are a bit off, but again Tayven still has a season left to play (not sure what JG's rating was after his junior season for a true comparison).

One other thing to point out is Tayven's junior season is far better JG's best season, and Tayven did that during the Covid year.

He could have a monster season this year if he stays healthy.
The thing I've always wondered with JG is if Ohio State pulled out of his recruitment late in the process. Because his career makes a lot more sense if you consider it was us and Rutgers as the final 2.

There’s no difference in classes 1-6 really. So that doesn’t really matter to me. The top teams are all pretty much the same talent wise... it’s what happens after that separates Alabama from everyone else. Look at Mac Jones, josh jacobs, and Quinnen Williams 247 profiles.

Georgia fans are delusional and always have been. If the only way you are happy with a season is if it ends in a title, then you need to find a new hobby in today’s CFB. Especially when you have the goat in your conference. If you told me Heupel would have the same exact results as Kirby has had at Georgia up this point, would you not take it? Lol
I’ll take anything at this point Hank…. Lol not a fair question…. Anything is better than 3 - 7

Lol. Who tf watched JG run and thought "this guy is a dual-threat QB"?

This dude is such a loser

imagine thinking that soft as Charmin bum is the goat

I wasn't old enough to really watch Jordan, so I've been one to argue at times that LJ may have been at least neck and neck with MJ... things like this make it impossible to argue anymore.. LJ was easy to root for at one time, but things like this, along with the off the court antics/politics, makes people root against him even more.. One thing that gets missed is LJ does do A LOT of things for his community especially in Ohio. I think he's a good guy that just takes it too far a lot of the time.

Love how the "progressive" idiots are all about science is their god until it comes to dumb unfair 💩 like this....I hate this freakin horse💩. The world is now ran by f'n morons.

Basic biology tells us that sex can only be male or female (except for hermaphrodites, which are very rare).

Gender is a psychological construct. Don't blame science, as psychology is barely science.

someone said on VQ that Tayven runs a wing T offense and that they don't throw it a ton in that offense. If that's true, of course his passing stats aren't going to be that high.

Ultimately, and this goes for any HS player coming out. If you compare what they did in college to where they rated coming out of HS (especially for the QB position) most the time the 4/5 stars disappoint.

JG is a ridiculous extreme example, mainly because not one other QB (of any rating) had to deal with that much staff turnover.

2016 - HC: Butch, OC/QB: Debord
2017 - HC: Butch, OC: Larry Scott, QB: Mike Canales
2018 - HC: Pruitt, OC/QB: Tyson Helton
2019 - HC: Pruitt, OC: Chaney, QB: Weinke
2020 - HC: Pruitt, OC: Chaney, QB: Weinke

Let's just hope Tayven doesn't go through that, if he's here and it's Heupel, Alex, & Joey that develops him I'm sure he'll end his career with better results than Jarrett (assuming he stays at UT for the entirety of it).

If that's true then his numbers just got a lot more impressive to me. Cause Wing T usually means when you finally get to throw the defense is almost always expecting it.

Tayven would be a lot higher rated right now if he had a normal year of camping going into his Senior season.

Just crunching the numbers, looks like Tayven only throws the ball about 13 times per game. Not an offense that is going to put up huge passing numbers.
