Poor guy still didn't understand kneeling after 4 years 😅 Still thought it was about the military or disrespecting the anthem. Yikes. I like Brees, but talk about willful ignorance at the time. Seems he finally took the time to understand it though, so props to him for taking his head out of the sand as well.
I don't understand it either, and your head is the one in the sand from my point of view. You don't get why it offends millions of good people that would be glad to take your part against any discrimination otherwise.

Blood pressure...😡

This is HUGE!! Hopefully these two can break the stigma of American players in Europe and help the National Team take the next step toward being as good as we should be internationally.
If a tenth of the athletes that focus solely on football, basketball, and baseball decided to focus on soccer instead then the US would be unstoppable

My grandpa's grandmother was pure blood Cherokee, so it's actually true for me.

If true, why did no one kneel for the British national anthem in London games? Everyone stood up, hand on heart....
I’d still like a response to this since my head is obviously too far in the sand to understand what’s going on.

Why do NFL players kneel for the American National Anthem but when games are played in London they stand respectfully for the British National Anthem after kneeling for ours?

To fill in the blanks for those who may not get my point, slaves were brought to the Americas under the British flag and pushed onto many British Colonists who opposed this action. Within 25 years of this countries founding the International Slave Trade was made illegal.

Lol. Things don't mean whatever you claim they mean. If I spit in your face I suppose I could convince you that's a formal greeting in my culture and get you to say thank you? You don't get to direct your message at the anthem and flag of the country and then claim your message isn't about what the flag and anthem represent. Of course the people who do this protesting know that perfectly well. It generates a predictable reaction. Then people like you gaslight anyone who objects. Then the self-hatred cycle repeats 😂.

The fact of the matter is the exact same argument can be made in reverse. Even after four years of people telling them to protest in a different way to stop disrespecting the military and the anthem, they are still doing it the same way. Maybe it does have something to do with degrading the entire national identity, because obviously the "confusion" hasn't caused them to change anything.

Certainly in the discussion. Either way, it's a bad group to be in.

I personally think I am being fairer to Heupel than others are given what I think about this roster. If he wins anything over 4 games, I will consider it a job well done. I think he has inherited just about the (realistic) worst case scenario given how he wants to run this team.

My fear is people expecting 6-7 wins will start killing him by November.

I already made a bet with a buddy. $100 dollars Tennessee wins more than 5 regular season games.

Also, you are killing him in May….
