Are the coaches happy with who we have playing CB? Just seems to me like we'd try to find at least one good CB in the portal. Maybe we are and it just hasn't been discussed? JMO, and admittedly, the coaches know a helluva lot better than I do, but I'd think one more ILB and a couple of corners would be a priority. Just seems like our weakest positions. Maybe the secondary was just poorly coached last year?

Its a shame that JT Shrout and Ty Chandler were given the GIT shirt, they would’ve balled out in this offense

Back in my day there were. But I'm old now, and there's a pandemic, so I'm no longer certain.

I remember one St. Patty's day where we closed down the bar at 3am, and I was supposed to be at work at 6am. I didn't make it. If I had only been hungover, I would have been fine, but I was still drunk.

Wonder if there just hasn't been anyone good enough in the portal that didn't already know where they were going. You know, like players that go to OK. Is there a deadline on when you can enter the portal and play next year? Thinking someone said July 1. If so there is 2 more months...which is crazy.

A trade show in Chicago on St Patty’s day. I was late 30s, old enough to know better, but open bar, good friends, long evening...stuff happened. So much drunk. So very much drunk. After the 5th or 6th visit to the commode, between dry heaves, I said aloud, “all things in moderation, yes Father, I remember why we don’t do this”. I heard God laugh, almost audibly. From that moment, the vomiting stopped and I was able to sleep it off. To this day I’ve never had a desire to drink more than a drink or two. That’s one aspect of getting older I like. Self control comes easier now. And I’m perfectly ok with places closing early.

Well, there was my daughter‘s wedding, but that’s a story for another time.

Ty would’ve continued to struggle because there is still grass on the field to trip him up after 4 yards and the defenders continue to have fingers that will push him down if they brush him.
