Seems like most players at most schools do that. The pride is in individual accomplishments not team accomplishments.
Welcome to the new normal in college football. There’s going to be a lot more Henry T’s in the coming years. The coaches and players have a much more transactional relationship with the university than us fans have. VFL’s are going to be harder to come by. I can understand the reasons why that is, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.

Our teammates are too busy congratulating him. They’re proud of him. There’s no pride in our team anymore

That's been the most sickening aspect of all this

All our "VFL's" sharing that pic of him.

Selfish ass generation

I know they can still be friends but damn, why share that damn pic on your Instagram story?

Al Wilson, Raynoch Thompson, Jerod Mayo, and Leonard Little, etc would drive to Trailer Park Alabama and whoop his ass.

I mean , honestly, we arent really rivals with Alabama anymore anyway. Not in 20 years. It doesn't mean what it used to as far as kids these days
I get what your saying and I know toot is a good kid but if I was a player for UT I’d look at it like he quit on them when things got tough. I’d be a little different if he went back out west or Ohio St but to go to Bama?

Selfish ass generation has more perspective than a bunch of adults on here. Wishing ill on a good kid because he is leaving an arbitrary school you've decided to like to an arbitrary school you've decided to hate. Yeah. Definitely these damn kids wrong in this one 🙄

Sorry to say, but the days of football players like Al Wilson are gone. The opposition use to be the enemy. Now players are hugging before and after games. Rule changes have penalized aggressive hard hitting football.
Everyone wants to win, but players today do not hate losing. There is a big difference.
