Some people have an innate need to correct what they feel is an over skew to one side of an issue or another. There wasn't a lack of joy in our winning, so he didn't feel the need to correct it. Doesn't make him a troll. You all will beat out of him his tendency to try to bring fanatics to what he feels is an accurate POV. You all (mostly) did that to me over the years, and it's probably for the better because fanatics in sports, religion, and politics don't really like people trying to reason them away from a passionate stance on those issues.
There’s a way to express a different take without trolling. He hasn’t mastered it. This…. If Tennessee would of pulled any of the guys I played with or against such as Sonny Gray, Mike Minor, and Drew Hayes…. Imagine…. All those guys ended up playing for an MLB team and two of them are still currently MLB pitchers. You’ve been negative the entire time. It’s not wishful thinking with regard to talent. The state is loaded. Facilities are one thing but you can win a lot at UT with regional talent.

The talent is definitely there if we recruit it.
Sonny Gray was the first time I faced a 90+ fastball…. I was like 15 or 16 and we were in the Tennessee State Babe Ruth Tournament… we placed 3rd….Looked over at my Dad who was my coach at the time…. Like wtf was that? (I played a lot of travel ball then as well and never saw 90s)
You got to think the relationship he has with this young team will have a pull. Also, he really hasn’t got his guys in place yet. Sky’s the limit!!
