Power is in the hips and how fast you can get around. I wasn’t the player my dad or uncle were, so I won’t use myself. But they were 6’2 160lbs in high school. My uncle set, then my father broke the SC 4A HR record at that timeThe baseball team has some skinny dudes that hit absolute bombs.. idk how they do it, but it’s working.
I know that has a lot to do with it, but when I played the sluggers were usually more jacked. Must be some good coachingPower is in the hips and how fast you can get around. Good thing is you’re young and you’ve come to a point of self awareness that some never reach in their life. Any disgrace you feel can easily be erased. My grandfather was their coach... and mine but I was more interested in drugs and women than honing my talent. Damn disgrace I was, threw away being a lefty throwing 85-88 at 16.
It may not be baseball but many skills are transferable. Be strong, be honest, and attack everyday with a work ethic to be successful. You also have a great family here for advise and support.I’ve dealt with it all. I still can’t watch Field of Dreams though. My story is just too similar to that one, impossible movie to get through.
You mean they have natural hitters like Ted Williams, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth and Mantle? Instead of steroid junkies like Bonds, Sosa and McGuire?
it’s all about the legs, hips, and bat speed. Bat speed is generated by staying looseI know that has a lot to do with it, but when I played the sluggers were usually more jacked. Must be some good coaching
When Barry Bonds was with the Pirates, he was a skinny dude that could hit. Then he went to the Giants and his head grew several sizes, but he could still hit. It's a shame he decided to take steroids because he had the natural ability to be good without them. Plus, he for sure had to buy all new hats to wear on that big old steroid head of his.I wouldn’t go that far. They were probably good for 40-50 homers just like Griffey in that era, who didn’t take steroids. The roids propelled them to the 60-73 asinine numbers, but they were still pure hitters.
Plus before the 90s the MLB was mobbed in a amphetamine epidemic going back to the 50s, and I don’t know if you’ve ever taken something like adderall but it’s definitely a performance enhancing drug. Just mentally rather than physically

Performance enhancers have always been a part of the game. Not just drugs, but pine tar, Vaseline, sandpaper, cork, etc.I wouldn’t go that far. It really is a shame. Barry Bonds had so much natural talent, and he marred it by using steroids. He could have had a HOF career without them.https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51Sxo2w9+cL._AC_.jpg
For those that don’t know, this is barry bonds before he needed a size 9 hat
Wow! What a prediction! Really going out on a limb with that one! What else can you tell us? Wait wait go ahead and try and guess my favorite color. Did you say orange!? Damn! You’re a loa! JoBu lives!I was making a inference based off the information we knew about Pruitt. Technically a guess obviously, I’m making a inference with JH too. I expect us to be a good not great offensive team, and to be average. Probably win 6-8 games a year maximum with constant losses to the big 3 UGA UF and Alabama
