Not necessarily in baseball. Their arms look live to me and Anderson knows how to handle them. Most starting pitchers do not want extra days, they like to stay in a rhythm.The hitters never need much time off, they lose their eye/timing if they are too inactive.

I wonder how different Butch Jones tenure would’ve ended if Tyler Bray and CP/JH stayed for their senior years, cause that way Dobbs wouldn’t have played in ‘13 and would’ve had an extra year here, and then in 2017 we likely would’ve won a coupke of extra games, and who knows where 2018 would’ve gone

Theory over substance. Seen it so many times. Team goes home to rest and waits on playoffs. Lose their edge and go out quickly. Similar reason some football teams don't benefit from bye weeks if they are reasonably healthy. What you do as a team builds as you have success and ole mo takes over.

I'm starting to see things more clearly as I awake from my SKITTLE induced stupor, yes much clearer. On the back of every Jersey instead of the players names it has been negotiated to say "SweetasSoda"..... Case solved.....NEXT.

Wouldn’t have mattered...Bray wouldn’t have been eligible. Was tied up in the same mess that got Maurice Couch suspended for the season.
