We went to Kentucky Kingdom yesterday and then stayed in downtown Louisville overnight. Ate at a really good pizza joint called Bearno's. Very good food.

Of course, I was so tired from driving, the sun all day, and several drinks that I snored so much and so loud that my wife had to leave our room and go sleep with our youngest daughter in the other room.

Also, there was a stck of lumber next to the bed from all the logs I was sawing, so I'm pretty much a millionaire now.

Thank you to all that paid the ultimate price so that we could be free. Let us never forget their bravery and sacrifice. Let us live in a way that honors them and never surrender those freedoms they paid for.

Always remember our national motto...E pluribus unum...Out of many, One. We are a nation of different peoples. Some of our ancestors came as settlers. Some came as slaves. Some came to escape persecution in our lands. Some came to build a new life for their family. Others were already here. However, regardless of how we, specifically, got here to this point, we are Americans. Regardless of what you look like, what neighborhood you live in, what you do for a living, what car you drive, or what religion you believe in, WE are ALL Americans. May you all be blessed today and all the days to come.

Except the bammers, dawgs, and gators.

J/k... even them.

I’m thankful for Tony V.

Before him, the most exciting June Tennessee sports activity was watching videos of freshman football players moving into their dorms.
