Btw, what happened to the bat? I never saw where it landed. Anyone? He probably shouldn't have tossed his bat 10 ft in the air at his teammates, but other than that it was fine .
The only reason "unwritten rules" exist is because pitchers are little girls and everyone else is trying to avoid taking 96 to the head. Weird how all the stupid rules are to protect pitchers when pitchers just so happen to be the only ones allowed to sling a weapon at other people.
Get rid of the stupid unwritten rules by handing out month long suspensions to anyone purposefully throwing at batters.

There are plenty of obvious ones to punish without worrying about the accidents or ambiguous ones. You're acting like there's never been a hit batter where everyone in the world knew it was blatant. First pitch of the game straight to the head after the guy bat flipped the previous game? The only way is right after something major..... my Dodgers have waited several games before hitting a batter intentionally but that is not the point..... you are leaving that judgement in the hands of someone who has proven to screw up calls all the time..... it gives umpires even more power and control over the games..... pitchers have to be able to pitch inside.
It still doesn’t matter..... it won’t just be used in those situations and will be a judgement call by umpires..... how do you like their judgement calls right now? There are plenty of obvious ones to punish without worrying about the accidents or ambiguous ones. You're acting like there's never been a hit batter where everyone in the world knew it was blatant. First pitch of the game straight to the head after the guy bat flipped the previous game?
Yes. Winner of the losers bracket game will play a DH tomorrow. Second game will be Monday if needed. So with today's loss, Wright State is eliminated, right? So how does tomorrow play out? If things hold and we win, do Duke and Liberty play an elimination game? Do we then play winner, and if we win, advance? We have to lose twice to be eliminated in this round, right?
