Do/can college pitchers ever go all 9?
Hell, even the pitchers in MLB don't go 9 innings anymore. They're paid to get the team to the 6th inning and then the "specialist" take over. Before MLB made the change last year, pitchers would come in just to face one batter and then someone else would come in for the same purpose. Now, if a relief pitcher comes in, he has to face a minimum of three batters. They're trying to speed up the game.

ah, the good ole days of a third of an inning's work then back to the dugout. i remember watching a game where they brought in a lefty to face the left handed batter, then a righty to face the right handed batter, and then another lefty to face a left handed batter... all in one inning.

Yeah but you can push a kid into a sport but that doesn't mean they'll be great at it. Luck has a lot to do with being exposed to the right sport for your skill set. His dad and he could have loved basketball. Doesn't mean he would be world class.
I agree with that.... it’s why I believe in playing multiple sports...I was just saying that woods wasn’t a good example bc the sport he pushed his kid toward happened to be one he was really good at.
