In trophy hunts they typically use every part of the inside of the animal….. some is used for human consumption,,,, some is used for other animal consumption….. the rest is used various different products.funny how the herds managed themselves just fine for countless centuries before trophy hunters showed up. Also, feeds the community? Really? They eating lion and giraffe meat?
The hubris of man that they can control of all of nature is what is sickening.
Not sure what your vendetta is against legal hunting but you are completely ignorant on the subject and it shows.
And yes hunters money is a huge portion of what pays for public land, conservation efforts in Africa and many other causes. You should seriously do some unbiased research.
I’ve pointed this out before but your avi is literally of one of the biggest hunters/ conservationist in history. Which is amusing given your stance.
So you think the president of the United States had to hunt for food? Are you a vegetarian?Yeah me and you and have been down this road. Hunting animals for sport is evil. Spin it however you want.
Teddy also started the national park system. He also hunted over 100 years ago. About all the animals he killed were for the Smithsonian and other museums which at the time probably seemed like a good idea. I like to think he would have a different view of how humans have f'd up every aspect of nature they have touched.
Animals provide more than just food. Of course we eat them, but they also provide clothing and other materials. As long as the animal isn’t endangered and hunting is legal, there’s nothing wrong at all in killing animals and putting them to use. It would be wrong if you killed them and left them laying there to rot.I was raised you kill an animal for food or to avoid death. One exception is thinning out numbers to prevent disease if a predator is lacking.

If Nolen chooses UT, I think we should all honor @drvenner 's sacrifice. We can do a gofundme to raise funds for a prosthetic.
