Mississippi State fan friend texted me saying LSU AD flying to Omaha today to "interview Vitello as soon as the Vols are done. He gone."

Not sure if this has been discussed yet.

They're gonna interview him and offer no doubt... just not convinced he's gonna take it.

no way he lets this be a distraction. completely contrary to every thing we've heard about his personality

Every school with a opening wants the new and shiny. If Tennessee is serious about winning in all sports then they will do everything they can to keep a proven winner and if not, then nothing has changed in the mindset of those running things behind the scenes.

One really positive thing about today is the "Whistling Idiot" is quiet.

I edited to spell quiet correctly. It was "quite" a shock to see my English classes from days of yore were basically wasted........alas my skills have not improved since my school days. I'll go back to my corner now and sit quietly.

they have put together a top of the sec offer….. if he doesn’t stay….. it is not bc of our commitment.
