I haven't given anyone insider cred. Passing along what I was told from a friend who is from Louisiana and has friends/family that are LSU baseball friends. Just to have the discussion and hear other perspectives.

Exactly what I told him was I wouldn't be just totally shocked if TV left but that it wasn't consistent with his character and what he's said since he's been here. Also, I simply don't put much thought into LSU people going to Omaha. I guarantee they aren't just looking at TV, and they're probably gonna intervuew some assistants on multiple teams.

Mississippi State fan friend texted me saying LSU AD flying to Omaha today to "interview Vitello as soon as the Vols are done. He gone."

Not sure if this has been discussed yet.

They're gonna interview him and offer no doubt... just not convinced he's gonna take it.

He (my friend) meant "when the Vols are done" as in "eliminated" not as in "after today's game."
