I agree with this. Also I’m not hating on Milton, he is an Athlete and he has a Live Arm probably the best Arm of any of the QBs. But, like you said accuracy etc is a concern and there is a reason he left Michigan.

Either way like I’ve said for any QBs I’m backing whoever the coaches pick and if that’s Milton then so be it. But, my gut tells me Bailey
If anyone comes in and it all clicks…we benefit. I’m here for it. Have the most confidence that our HC will identify the best guy (at least at this position) since forever.

All I know is it’s finally going to be nice watching our guys catching the long ball in stride instead of back shoulder jump balls.

I’m sure they do and winning programs don’t turn away potential talent. But the other candidates have barely started their familiarization with this offense and THAT is much further along than where Milton is beginning square one. The VQ mods have been impressed with the ass kicking his arm has put up against air. Bet Harbaugh was also.

It's true he's going to be behind the others in learning the offense. It's also true that accuracy was definitely an issue for him at Michigan. My gut still leans towards Milton being the starter, but we'll see how it unfolds. I'm fully behind whoever gets the starting nod.

100% agree with both chiz and butchna. It comes down to which QB moves the O, has the trust of his teammates/coaches, makes the right checkoffs, and gets the ball to the right receivers in the right places. That spells leadership and wins. Period. It ain't about pretty, biggest arm, best scrambler/runner, etc. HB is that guy currently and he proved it to his teammates and coaches in the spring. Now he needs to prove it when it matters most.

I hope Milton does equally well or better - but there is absolutely no way anybody will know that until it happens because it did not happen at Michigan. Which is why he left. If he proves it, that will mean more wins. Which is what the program should be concerning itself with and hasn't for quite some time.

Well..I doubt anything much that happens this year will make you think Heupel is great if that's what you need to happen to say it is a good hire.

This team is a 3-7 team...you are what your record says you are. Assuming he and his staff are better football coaches than Pruitt and his guys...I think 5-7 or 6-6 is the probable landing spot...that ain't gonna make you feel any better about it.

I disagree. We had a 3-7 coaching staff. Many of the 3-7 “star players for pruitt” are gone. I think that we get to see a much better coached team this Fall. The players that are here all want to prove that they are not a 3-7 team. The new coaching staff all want to prove that they are SEC worthy.
I hope that we see a ton of great proof this season.

Again, our guys actually knew where to lineup by Spring…. That is telling in itself… lol in an entire year last year with Pruitts staff we had guys lining up wrong and it was his 3rd year….

It shows immaturity and stupidity on Salters part.
While I think it's completely ridiculous to still have small possession to be an arrestable offense at this point in recorded time. Kid just makes bad decisions. We all have tough times to go through, granted no one knows an individuals personal struggle. Hope he finds right guidance and mentorship. But, its time for him to move on. He isnt ready for Knoxville.

Isn’t it just a citation usually? I’m sure he got arrested for a culmination of things to include admitting to trying to dispose of evidence

not sure. makes sense but I believe its still considered an arrest on your record, in TN. show up for court date, pay court costs... do your community service. stays on your record. (at this pt because this is his second?)

Too add, if I were he. I would make sure and not get arrested for same bull ****, a third time. That's a whole nother ball of wax.
