I'm pretty excited about the potential of this basketball team, but VQ is known for it's glowing off-season reviews of workouts. I understand the last off-season was strange, but by reading their reports you would have thought Keon Johnson was going to win National Player of the Year for his future performance on the court.

There is immense talent on this team, I just hope they can put the pieces together this time.

You know he just broke the NBA Combine record for the vertical jump at 48"...I actually think if we hadn't gotten an abbreviated off-season last year Keon & Springer would have been playing all season like they did in the back-half of the year. Which would have had one or both in the discussion at least for National Player of the Year.

it makes me uncomfortable. I remember thinking three years back was an eternity. like when i was a freshman in HS we were 3 years out from out last SEC Championship game in football and i thought that was such a drought. Now three years ago seems like yesterday.

I know I keep mentioning Gary Parrish. But this week he said a staff member at UT sent him a text last fall and told him that Keon should be in the top 10 in mock drafts. Keon is most likely about to be drafted in the top 10. They knew what they had- just couldn’t put it all together.

As a father of a son, just know this dad at least will be having those same threating conversations same as you all with girls.

I understand wanting a girl to treat your son well but a man threatening a girl is probably not a good look. Maybe let his mother take the lead there?
