I'm not saying it's easy to do what he's doing, I'm saying when in Rome do as the Roman's. When you try and fail its easier to accept then the Holier than thought schtick.
No one said holier than thou, we were just talking about high character players. You don’t have to be religious to be a good person. There are stand up athletes from all different backgrounds.
Also, we can’t afford to lose players because of character flaws or grade issues.

I'm not talking about being religious, I'm just saying Academic standards, team rules, worrying about them being an ambassador. Take the 5* that has grade concerns, take the 4* that may need an attitude adjustment. We need talent not character

All this arguing tonight...Let's be honest, we're Tennessee fans. After the last 10-15 years it doesn't take much to put us on the ledge, yet it never takes much to have us all in again. Being a Tennessee fan means you have to be at least a little masochistic.

So it’s not your team? May need to change your stage name if that’s the case... thought you were a venting Vol bit if it’s not your team nothing else to discuss here...
? What would have rather me said to compare the two? You knew the exact 2 seasons I was talking about.

That’s what I like about you, you never judge. Nashville is still off the table, you’ve never redeemed yourself.

Nashville isn't really that fun anyway. I'm not very sociable when I go to the doctor's office.

I told y'all we should do lunch.

I can't imagine the dozen or so athletes who will make enough to owe taxes beyond the lowest tax bracket are profitable enough for tax people to be lining up. Its a simple line item on your 1040, don't really need a tax consultant to help out with it.

That's probably why nobody is talking about it, it's a pretty minor issue unless you're a superstar making 6+ figures in endorsements.
Probably a little more complicated than that. These guys going to be classified as self employed for example? State taxes potential. Lot of variables. How Taxes Could Disrupt the Gameplan of Paying Student-Athletes

This. And one characteristic we need are individuals willing to sacrifice self for the team. We need athletes willing to sacrifice instant glory to be a program changer. I’ve seen it before and we will see it again. Sad thing for us if that Josh Donna and Derek Barnett were soooo close to being those guys but Butch ruined it because of his insecure sorry arse ego.

So team rules don’t matter??? You’d do a hell of a job running a program.
