Invol hates Coach Harper.
Bruin hates Vitello.
Hillbilly hates all football coaches except Chip Kelly.
We all hate Pruitt, Jones and Dooley.

Does anyone hate Karen Weekly?

I don't know the names of any of our other coaches, which is actually kinda sad. Does anyone hate any of them?

I do think someone paying a freshman who’s never played a down is crazy.

Have you been to Georgia? These people down here are crazy and stupid.

It is crazy and stupid to pay them but let's not act like K McKenzie wouldn't have been earning nearly 7 figures before he ever stepped foot on the field.

Admiral and Grant's teams did this and we all loved it. The Barstool Rocky Top account would post a clip of them dancing after every win.

The basketball model is the way to go. Barnes only landed 3 star nobodies. Then he won with them and put them in the league. Now the 5 stars are lining up to come here. Do the same with football

Developing project recruits and building from the bottom isn't the fastest way to say "Hello, win column." The program is damaged. We'll see how much they can fix with what we have.

Our staff got 5 guys drafted from UCF, I assume they were mostly 3 stars. Maybe you've forgotten, but our 4 and 5 stars didn't do that well.

We’re a much more patient fanbase than we’re credited…we’ve had to be. Fact is we haven’t had a technically proficient offensive HC mind since Kiffin and going back to Dickey before that. There’s always going to be motley mindless screaming to fire the HC yesterday…they’re background noise. The majority VFL fanbase want to see things building towards something. They’re patient as long as there’s no significant backwards regression or downright implosion…see last 3 HC’s career arcs. Heupel has the best available talent he’s had in his HC career (yeah I said it). It’s his baby and he has the backing of every sane mind. We dramatize our situation as if a literal nuclear bomb’s been dropped on our program. We hired the wrong guys. When that changes (if it already hasn’t), recovery will be swift. We’re built to win with all the resources.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but saw on the national news this morning that the NIL thing was signed, but the state of Tennessee was not part of it-- they highlighted the states, and we were not... Of course AL and GA were... ??

Also, if this thing is going through, then the NCAA should just wipe the slate clean... additional sanctions on us at this point would be kind of hypocritical when now it is okay for players to get paid....fingers crossed.

Can you at least give us a *wink* that they understand what it really takes to win? Surely they aren't naive and think we can win while being at a huge competitive disadvantage.

They think it takes time to win. They think it's going to take patience and commitment to recruit the kind of SAs UT wants, develop them to their full potential and build the culture and experience to compete for championships. That's what they stress to boosters/donors and what admin seems committed to doing. UT is under active investigation and in "best foot forward" mode.
