Main difference is they won't be employees, so taxes won't be taken out automatically. It will really be up to them to keep up with their income. And self-employment taxes are outside the standard deduction, so it will hit nearly all of them. Normally one doesn't have to file taxes if they're below the deduction amount (12k or whatever), but for the self-employed that threshold is very low ($400).

But yeah it really shouldn't be that complicated as long as they keep up with their earnings and set 15% aside to pay the SE tax (preferably pay quarterly but yeah...don't see that happening for most). This should be one of the first things they're taught in these UT NiL courses.

Add tax evasion to the list of reasons players are suspended or kicked off the team

Went to HS NC during pandemic, but, this is first time we've vacated (due to family deaths and illnesses) in a year.

Nice to get away. Many may not gas, thought some like Mcgill may enjoy! Btw its most Yellowstoney place ive been since Yellowstone.
