He tried to get around him bc the drunk idiot was blocking the path. He tried to just walk past, but the guy said something or possibly touched his back. When he turned around the guy flinched at him like he was going to hit him. He reacted and knocked the idiot out. He could’ve pounded his face into the ground, but he just walked away. I see absolutely nothing wrong with what he did. Would you just wait until the drunk idiot hit you?? I don’t understand your rationale

Well I would agree if it was just another random person, but he is/was a professional fighter and some drink out of shape middle age man should not scare him and him saying so is straight up bs. He appeared to be sober and being a professional fighter should have ignored the town drunkard and saved himself some grief. Whatever he gets will be well deserved.

He could’ve literally splattered the dudes brains all over that bar if he hadn’t showed restraint. He made him go to sleep, so he didn’t have to worry about being attacked, then walked away. Have you not ever been in or seen a fight? Rarely do people just walk away so calmly after somebody goes down

Seriously, when one guy is knocked cold, the fight is generally over. Are prison fights like your only experience with fighting or something?

The entire discussion has been about whether it was appropriate for me to draw on some guy like him if he sucker punched me. The entire discussion has been rhetorical. It would never happen because I would never be there to start with.

If you young guys want to go to bars and beat the hell out of each other, I couldn't care in the least. If you hit me, and I think you're a big enough man to hurt me seriously, I'll draw on you. That's how it works.

That is not what I have been talking about. I’m not saying hitting some old man for no reason is right. I’m saying if you behaved the way the drunk dude did in the video, you deserve to get hit. If you decided to pull a gun in that situation, you should have your carry rights revoked. Most older, responsible men wouldn’t be in that situation, so they shouldn’t have anything to worry about

Yea man. He came back, wanted to knock him out. He probably deserved it. In our kangaroo court here, I’m with ya, but that ain’t the real world.

That’s a big part of the issue in America….. people are allowed to sue for any reason….. I remember once years ago…. A guy tried breaking in a store…. He fell through the ceiling and was able to sue the owner.

He made a move like he was going to.. it was aggressive. You don’t wait around for somebody to hit you lol.. the drunk guy made the first aggressive move. After that has been made, it’s game on

Bar fights happen all the time….. both guys had been drinking and acted like idiots…. It happens.

No it's not. I'm surprised at your lack of logical thinking. He could have very well killed the drunk guy. You're saying it's ok for meathead to kill the drunk guy with his bare hands but because the drunk guy doesn't take steroids and work out and train to be a fighter he should just take his beating like a good little drunk guy. Or he should just submit to the bully. Maybe he should have just bowed his head in reverence as he walked by.
