Yeah, let's talk about the transfers we got for this year. Think we do even better in the portal next year. I have already forgotten half of them we have gotten so many.

TE / Hback deal. I could see it being a hybrid type role. On and off the ball, with maybe a few carries here and there. I’m highly doubting he gets full time carries as a rb though

That’s what I envisioned when he first made the switch last season. He’s more potentially impactful toting the ball than I predicted tho. This staff is more apt to put him in situations he can be a weapon so hopefully win/win.

Also I wonder if this NLI stuff will cause some players to lose focus - worrying about trying to earn and manage money instead of playing the game. People in their circle wanting to take advantage, etc.

They teach you about this stuff your rookie year in the NFL and even then guys fall into bad traps.

This is going to be an early crash course for some.

I may be in the minority, but I am really at peace about the football program.

After a decade of trying to “rebuild” on the run, the fact that we went scorched earth to get rid of Pruitt, went a completely different direction with AD and athletic department employees, and have hired a coach who is innovative and modern…

It finally feels like we have hit reset instead of trying to fight our way out of a mess. It feels like we are sitting in a spot where we can rebrand TN football, let go of the past, and create a whole new culture instead of trying to plug all the holes of toxic culture.

It may be rough for a few seasons on the field, but I find it easier to be patient now. I may actually be able to enjoy the journey.
